I don't use the Adobe or Apple Cloud ecosystem. Reasons

I want to get hold of the DNGs from Lighroom Mobile (AKA Export)

How?

Export As.. is set to DNG, but exporting still converts them to JPGs.

For years the export options have been illogical and/or plain wrong.

Any place in the iOS file structure I can find the DNGs?

If you are capturing DNGs using Lightroom's in-app camera, and you want to export as DNGs, you can

  • Export the Original (no edits)
  • Exports As.. DNG (with edits)

It sounds to me like you might be using "Save copy to device" -- the default settings for this are to use JPG, and this option does not obey settings you may have used for Export As.. DNG

To use "Save copy to device" while saving as DNG, please adjust the settings by tapping on the icon to the right:
