How to grey background

Hi, i am new to using Lightroom and would love some help please

I took a photo of this construction site and need to know how to grey the background to look similar to this.

Quick (and 'dirty') method is to select the Brush Tool in Masking and brush over/"paint" the area that you reduce the Saturation slider for-
