I can’t import photos in Lightroom with connected devices.

I've been with support for 45 min and they said maybe it's both of my SD cards. When I try to import photos from my Sony a7iv it says no images can be imported on selected device. There are pictures on there that haven't been imported. Also this is MAC. If click the as card on the desk top I can open the files and import into light room, why can't I do it the way I used to though using Add photos button on left of screen in Lightroom cloud. Thinking of switching to C1

Also it's worked perfectly for the last year.

Hey @Dustin30715125zfua. Welcome to the Lightroom community. I've reviewed your profile & the case history. In the past year, have you updated the macOS?

What format are the cards formatted into? Would it be possible to share a screenshot of the first folder structure of the SD card?

Try these suggestions:

Ensure Lightroom has the required permissions on macOS:https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/quick-tips-how-to-give-full-disk-access...
Try restarting the machine while the SD card is connected directly through usb port instead of USB hub if you're using any.
