1.) Why on earth do I have to keep "updating" my masks anytime I use the AI remove tool or adjust an adjacent mask? It doesn't even say what changed or why I need to do it. Are my edits changing? It was fine 2-3 weeks ago.
2.) Why is there another step put in the way of me exporting or watermarking->exporting photos? I am a working professional and sometimes I need to individually watermark->export hundreds of photos in one sitting. Every step you add to the export process in the name of sharing with the community(I've filled out the surveys, never asked for any of this) makes it harder for me to do the ONLY thing I even use Lightroom for. Which is edit photos well and efficiently. Please stop trying to be 20 different things to 20 million users.
3.) Can we please put the color tint values back to 5,0 denominations? You finally fixed my issue where the color tint kept on changing itself after I adjusted it and thought I was finished working on a photo. Now all I'd request is that we get off of this random number stuff. Nobody is buying lighting that comes in 5303K or 3758K. So why is LR now attached to random numbers we don't see in the real world?
4.) Even if it is just me, I'm at a loss as to what changed that so negatively affected the speed with which a smart preview/original is downloaded and ready for me to work on. My work sessions times have increased almost 50% over the last 3 weeks and that's unacceptable. This HAS to be fast and it was less than a month ago. What changed and why? Is this being addressed?
Thank you for reading my concerns and I appreciate anything done to address them.

I really don't think they realize how much the increased delay in loading can impact the workflow for high-volume event photographers--I have over 20,000 photos in my work queue across 5 events awaiting completion. My daily average used to be at least 1000, up to 2000 on a longer day. Now, I'm lucky to get through 200-400/day.
Unfortunately, it looks like these issues aren't being seen. I originally posted about it back on the 4th with not much luck besides a recommendation to update my drivers.

I'm sorry you're suffering too and it's perplexing that this goes on unaddressed. I know your frustration right now. I check my devices multiple times a day waiting for an update that doesn't seem to be coming.
I just went back and finished up editing an album I started 3 weeks ago and when I exported them, I got a pop-up with a slew of export errors. So not only do I have to wait forever for those photos I already edited to reload, I had to "update" all of the existing masks manually. And then re-export. I honestly don't even know what the "update" did and now I'm feeling anxiety over not being 100% sure about what I'm sending.
Best of luck getting through this my friend. We're going to need it.

Although it meant losing my ability to edit on the go, I ultimately ended up switching over to Capture One. The speed difference has been astonishing, and I'm starting to catch up on my major backlog that Adobe created.
For photos with major distractions, I still need to export to photoshop, but everything else I've been able to do easier and faster with Capture One.

I'm loathe to think of switching but I get it. If I have to relearn how to do everything on a pc, I'll do it with a different program. I started with LR Mobile when I first started getting into photography and it's since become a very powerful tool for me to edit huge amounts of photos relatively quickly and finish up fine details on the laptop(and with Photoshop). My peers no longer give me the side-eye when I explain my editing process because the results speak for themself. And my clients love me being able to give them properly edited photos on the fly. My hope is that this is an unplanned error on Adobe's part and that there is a fix coming. If not, I just can't keep up with this. My entire business is based on being faster and more responsive than my local competition and with my work times now doubled recently, I'm about out of patience.

I completely get it, and I hated the idea of switching, too. Adobe and LR are all I've known. I'll be honest though, the issues with LR have been a blessing in disguise. The speed gained from switching to CO makes up for no longer editing with my iPad on the go. Crop 12 photos at a time, FAR faster loading, exporting, importing, paste settings etc. Quite literally have zero latency or hangups--but everything is done locally, so having a 5TB SSD and/or external is a must.
I'll also add my issues stem back to February, so I couldn't wait on LR any longer and risk losing clients.
