Hi there! My name is João and I'm a user of the Adobe Lightroom app since late 2022.

Since april 2024 I'm not being able to access the interface or export files to it.

Sometimes I'm able to access the initial interface but, as soon as I tap in a photo to start editing, the app shuts down.

Most of the times when I try to open the app directly, it only shows a black screen with a circle in the middle, like it is loading, but it doesn't go anywhere and when I try to export a picture from the Samsung Gallery it closes immediately.

I'll link some screen captures of what just tried to describe and hope that you devs can find a way to fix this inconvenience.

My device is an Samsung S22 Ultra and is running the latest Android and One UI versions.

Hey, @João. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. I've reviewed the account you've used for community, but I couldn't find an active subscription. Do you work with RAW or JPEG images?

Before troubleshooting, ensure Lightroom is updated to the latest version via the Google Play, or Samsung Galaxy Store.

If that does not help, try keeping the device in Flight Mode & without internet when you launch Lightroom.

If you have an active subscription, or back up of all your images, log on to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3TKo7Fl) & check for all the images that have synced & uploaded to the cloud. Once you're sure everything is backed up to the cloud, uninstall Lightroom & install Lightroom from a different store from where you installed before.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
Sameer K
