Image won't go from Lightroom to photoshop

Ive updated lightroom and photoshop. After processing in lighroom  the image will not open in photoshop

Hi there,

We're sorry for the trouble. Are you getting any error messages? Would you mind telling us that if you're working with a smart preview or the original Photo?

If you are working with a smart preview then, right-click on the photo you are trying to edit in Photoshop, and click on "Show in Explorer". If it says that the photo cannot be found then point to the proper location of the photo, and it will load the original location in Lightroom & then you should be able to edit it in Photoshop.
