Hi,

My original lightroom app crashed and took all of my catalogues with it the only file I have is the lrlibrary file. Is their a way to import that file into lightroom to get back all my photos and edits?

That file or any other Lightroom file isn't going to get your photos back because your photos were never in any Lightroom file. They were in folders on your computer. The catalog file, which had the extension lrcat, is the file that contains all the adjustments and the collections, and the plug-ins, all the work that you performed in Lightroom. You need all your images, in the file structure they were in preferably, as well as the catalog, in order to get going again.
