Importing Photos and having to restart the program to edit the photos

I just got lightroom cc a few weeks ago and the first few times i imported photos was fine but now everytime i go to import any amount of photos it lets me import them, but them pulls up a black screen where the photos would usually be. Then i have to wait for them to sync to my cloud and restart the app then the photos are all there. But i do not want to have to restart the program everytime i import a few photos. Any help?

Also after restarting the program and all of the pictures show up, if i go to my library and try and look at recently added or anything under library, they go black again.

You have posted in the wrong forum. This is for the Traditional version of LR not the Cloud Centric version.

I'll move your question over to the correct forum.

Black screen sounds like a problem with the graphics card. Have you checked the system requirements for GPU? Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ
