I tired to import photos from Mac photos to LR but LR says there is nothing to import. Why so? All my photos are in Mac photos.

LR did find a few old photos. Just a few. I find it strange because they're all in saved Mac photos. Help please and thank you.

You can export unmodified originals from Photos to the desktop or a named folder. Or export copies with your editing. Then import the duplicates into Lightroom.

To avoid file or library corruption, it’s best not to reference the same files in both Apple Photos and Lightroom.

Alternatively it’s possible to migrate your entire Photos Library into Lightroom. See this link for more information.
