Hi, everybody!

My old Mac broke and I got new one M1. I have Lightroom 6 installation disk (it was installed on my old Mac and worked perfectly), but instalation file did not work on M1. What shall I do, can I still have my Lightroom 6 on M1?
May be I can get newer version of instalation file?
Please, help!!!

You cannot install LR6 (Perpetual Standalone version) with Mac Catalina or BigSur iOS.

Apple has made its iOS exclusivly 64bit, rendering 'old' software obsolete.  LR6 installer is 32bit.

You need a subscription to the Photography Plan for Lightroom-Classic v10.4

Thank you!

Subscraprion is cost money! I hoped I still can use my stand alone version ...
Is it really no way to make it work?
I use Light room only ocasionally, so monthly paiment is not worth for me.

Only by reverting (or 'booting') to an earlier Mac OS (prior to Catalina).

No!

Buying a new Apple Mac means updating the software. (Some say- "The Joy of owning a Mac"!)
