There is no option to duplicate the photo, and when I save and try to reupload the photo it will not allow me to upload a duplicate.

I believe the Lightroom desktop app can do what you are asking, but Lightroom mobile cannot.

+1 top what "selondon" said, take a look at how to create Edit Versions in Lightroom mobile at: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/edit-photos-mobile-ios.html

Info is towards the bottom of the page in a section called "Create edit versions."  There are also numerous videos online showing how to use.

Unfortunately it's not possible.

If you are trying to achieve different edits, then the Versions feature may be useful.

As it was explained many times in this thread, (only two years old request, perfectly says how Adobe treats customers needs) versions are not the solution as they are inferior to duplicating photos.

Also, simply lack of feature parity of desktop and mobile, which is highly demanded, as upvotes suggest, is just bad product management.

They didn't implement this feature, as it would probably take too much time (15 mins).

Do not ask for the feature again, as it was already asked many, many times over the years (!) and they still didn't add it. Which means, they actively want to their producs to be bad and try to loose customers, and, as we see eg. on many Youtube videos recently, they are very successful in that.
