I recently applied Lightroom’s Adaptive Blur preset to a full shoot of 180 photos. Everything looks perfect in the Develop module (RAW preview), but once exported to JPEG (100% quality), I’m seeing visible outlines or gaps around fingers, hair, and bodies—almost like a halo or edge artifact.
I understand this preset doesn’t create an editable mask—it just applies strong effects like extreme negative Texture and Clarity. I’ve tried exporting as 16-bit TIFF, JPEG at max quality, and even checked on a more powerful machine, but the issue persists.
I’m looking for the most efficient fix since this is a large batch. Ideally something that doesn’t require going photo by photo with detailed brushwork.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to batch-soften the effect or update the preset without re-editing from scratch? I've attached a couple examples where the issue is quite obvious.
