Lightroom Add pics button is Grey

I cannot add any pictures to lightroom the "add photos" button is greyed out. Please help ASAP. I do have a student account

With educational accounts you may need to contact the Administrator.

 

I'm not sure what their options are but assume they have the preference to allow cloud storage for your account.

 

Lightroom Classic may be an option if not.
