I purchase Lightroom for ipad a year ago. I would like to use on my macbook pro. Do I need to purchase a different version to beable to use on both devices? Every time I try to log into Lightroom on my macbook under restore purchase it says I need to purchase a subscription. My renewal is coming up soon and I am unsure if the Lightroom for ipad app is what I need. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have the LrMobile premium subscription, you'd need to upgrade it to the full Lightroom plan. That gives you the desktop version of Lightroom, plus the existing LrMobile apps, plus 1TB of cloud storage.
