Hi,

I just bought an new XPS 15 9500 and I'm using Lightroom CC on it.

Sadly the app is incredibly slow regardind scrolling or opening or closing side panels...

All my drivers and apps are up to date, evereything on my computer works more than very well, only Lightroom CC is lagging (not even Photoshop).

I tried disabling GPU acceleration (worse), force high-performance GPU (nothing changed)...

Thank you for your help!

My configuration:

- Dell XPS 15 9500

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
RAM 16,0 Go

SSD

4k screen

- Lightroom CC 4.2

Has this been resolved or improved at all since your post in April?
I have recently ordered a Dell XPS 15 9500 (it was $600 off)

It has:

i9-10885H @ up to 5.3 GHz, 8 cores,  16MB Cache

64GB (2x32GB, DDR4, 2933MHz)

1 TB SSD

Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6

I'm hoping Lightroom and Photoshop runs blazingly fast if not I will return it right away and instead maybe order a Macbook Pro 13 M1. I have never owned an Apple product in my life.. but it seems to run Lightroom and especially Lightroom CC really well despite not being optimized yet for M1.

Hi!

No, no update and no improvment... It is really disapointing not having any answer from Adobe.

ALSO:

Have you had any issues with the trackpad or speakers or screen flickering at all?

I'm very worried I'll have some sort of hardware issue as the 9500 seems to be plagued with issues but I couldn't pass up the price.
Cheers!
