Lightroom CC mistakenly identifying duplicates

I have a number of photos being mistakenly idetified by Lightroom CC as duplicates when they are not.  I have tried renaming them and still doesn't work.

 

I saw on a different forum that this was a problem with earlier versions of LR CC, but I am running v4.2. on Mac OS 10.15.7

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.
