I click open
I get this crash report window
Then i am left wandering why adobe wont talk to a paying customer, instead pushing me to a user forum??
Hahahahahahahaahaaaaaa
I have tried
- uninstalling, removing preferences
- rebooting
- re-installing
and the problem persists
I have fixed by deleting the contents of the CoreSync folder.
1 Signed out of CC
2 closed CC
3 killed CC tasks in task manager
4 deleted contents of C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync
5 rebooted
6 signed in
7 opened Lightroom CC ok and sync has started.

I was trying to see if I could figure out what platform/device you are on by the screenshots. Can you provide those details along with... are you logged in to your account? Do you have any other Adobe apps... are you able to open them?

Hi cmgap,
I am logged in on the creative cloud app from which I am launching lightroom from. Also, if launched from the start menu it also crashes before a window is shown.
Photoshop opens fine.

I wonder if you completely sign out of the CCM (not quit) and restart your system, then sign back in if you will have better luck opening from the CCM? It's quite odd that you can open Photoshop without any issue (good but strange).
Do you also use Classic? Can you launch Classic?

Nope. still not working.
Lightroom Classic CC works fine. It appears to be only Lightroom CC
