Lightroom Creative Cloud catalog

Was editing yesterday, closed my mac, opened it today to wake up to an completely empty lightroom, no albums, no photo's. Just simply NOTHING. Never had this issue before with Lightroom Creative Cloud.
Checked if the catalog was deleted but is was still there, in the same place as before. It's not on an external drive so that's not the issue. Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

What version of Lightroom are you using? You posted this in Lightroom cloud version, but Lightroom desktop (the cloud version) does not have a catalog and does not store images locally. It stores everything in the cloud, so this sounds like perhaps you are using Lightroom Classic and LrC created a new catalog rather than keep using the existing one.
