The new masking tools in Lightroom are super powerful - but can you create a marquee mask or must you do that in Photoshop?
Current work-arounds might be to use-
1) A Brush to 'draw' the marquee.
eg. To marquee a square window-
Brush a straight line with the [Click] > [Shift+Click] method, for each window border, then brush in the interior of the mask.
2) Use the new 'Luminance Masking' functions, if luminance can define an area to "Marquee".

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! The option to do a selection using Marquee is currently not available in Lightroom while using Masking. For now, this is only possible in Photoshop.
You can submit a feature request for this by posting this as an Idea here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based/ct-p/ct-lightroom?page=1&sort=latest_...

Nikunj
