lightroom freezing

Lightroom keeps freezing when using basic functions. I can continue to use other apps and software with no problem but lightroom is really for the price, absolutely ridiculous to have these issues

Could you share a few more details about the issue? For example, what version of Lightroom are you using, and what operating system is on your machine? Also, which basic functions seem to cause the app to freeze?
If possible, please share your System Info. You can find it in Lightroom under Help > System Info. Just copy the details into a text file and attach it to your reply, or share it via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or another file-sharing service.
