Mac Desktop 2017 Retina 5k

Catonlina

Up until today I had no prolems using Lightoom Classic 2020, even used it this morning to edit without any issues..

This afternoon it keeps crashing and shutting down after I've used it for a couple of minutes.

I've checked prefferances,  the graphic card was already turned off.

I turned the face reconnection off

No change,

I've updated the mac

And also shut down and rebooted

But problem still exists

(I've not added any other applications or changed any other software,  so assume it's not clashes with another application, driver etc.

I haven't tried to reinstall, due to not 100% sure if I loose the links to my photographs, located on other disks...

Any help to fix this problem.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about Lightroom crashing, could you please check the plugin manager for any  plugins that are not supported in Lightroom Classic v9 and Remove them, then Restart Lightroom?

Also, check the plugin manager for any plugins that are not supported in Catalina (32 bit, but the manager will probably not show that, but might show errors). Restart Lightroom

Disable  any third party plugins, restart Lightroom.

Regards,
Sahil
