Hi there!
For several months now Lightroom Mobile crashes whenever I change the oriantation of the phone (!) from portrait to landscape.
The device is completely locked up then and a reboot is necessary.
It would be great if there was some way to fix this problem.

Hello @GoemonX
I tried my own iPhone XS Max, iOS 17.4.1 on Lightroom iOS Version 9.2.2. So far, I am not able to reproduce a crash.
Does this happen in the Device tab, or the Lightroom/Edits tab, or both?
What kinds of images are you viewing, and are the originals still on the device or are they loading from Lightroom cloud storage?
Are any specific edits applied? For example, I tried enabling HDR mode in the Light edits using raw ARW images from a Sony camera, and I also applied some masking and lens blur edits to really tax the system. And still, things are working OK on my device. Any info you can share may help.

Hey Charlie
thanks for your reply!
My Ligtroom iOS Version is 9.2.2 47FEED/137, but I guess it also happned to me in older versions.
The files are Canon CR3 RAWs synced to the Lightroom Cloud with Lightroom Classic.
No edits so far, no HDR or other settings, just the usual Lightroom sharpening and Lens Profiles active.
As far as I could test it now, it only happens in the Lightroom/Edits tab, with the synced files.
In the device tab there seems to be no problem, regardless what file format I view.
When it happens the iPhone is completly locked up and restarts after a few minutes.
Sadly it seems to be hard to reproduce. Yesterday it happened every time I switched the orientation of the phone and today the same pictures work just fine.

It happened again right now after I browsed trough about 40-50 photos in the edit tab.
All RAWs synced to the Lightroom Cloud without any edits.

Did you notice your device getting warm before things seem to lock up?
Does the device tend to rely on WiFi or cellular for sync? Is the internet connect solid?
Maybe I should have asked this first: have you tried re-installing the app?

No the Phone does not get warmer then usual.
Most of the time a stable WiFi connection, but also has happened on cellular.
Good call, so far I didn't reinstall the app. I'll give it a try!
