Hey, @W4lking Dead. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Check the Event Viewer from Windows search to skim through the Windows Logs > Application Logs section for any errors or critical events right when Lightroom freezes.

Awaiting to hear from you. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this. Event 1002 - Application Hang is a generic error in Windows.

As a primary step, try booting the Windows machine in Safe Mode to check if the issue exists.

If this does not help, before going further, you must ensure you have all the data backed up locally or on the cloud.

You can log on to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3LUKpiM) to check and confirm everything is synced.

Try these steps:

  • Go to the following location

    C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC
    or
    Press Windows + R & type in the following - %localappdata%\Adobe\Lightroom CC

    SameerK_0-1686343217595.png
  • Now go back a folder & rename the Data folder inside Lightroom CC as 'Data.old'.
  • Launch Lightroom.

Let me know how it goes,

Thanks!
