Lightroom Keywords not syncing to the Cloud

New Here ,
Jul 15, 2019 Jul 15, 2019

I've added keywords to my photos in Lightroom, but they don't seem to synch to the copies of the photos in the Cloud. Is there something I have to do to make them transfer?

Hi Dennis,

It seems to be working at my end, as the keywords are not syncing to the cloud, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom you're working with?

  • Also, what operating system are you using?
  • Are you working with raw files or jpeg files?
  • Does it happen with all images or some specific set of images?
  • Could you please check the internet connection once?

Regards,
Sahil

Are you using Lightroom (formerly known as Lightroom CC), or Lightroom Classic? If you are using Lightroom Classic then this is expected behavior. Keywords do not sync between Lr Classic and the cloud. There is a trick to let them upload once when you first sync an image, but after that any changes will not sync.
