Lightroom Mobile No Longer Lets Me Import from iPhone Favorites Album

When using Lightroom Mobile I've always been able to import directly from the “Favorites” album on my iPhone. It made editing so much easier since I could quickly flag my best shots and import them in bulk.

Recently, I noticed this option is gone. The “Favorites” album doesn’t show up when I go to import photos. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a workaround or did Adobe quietly remove this feature?

If it’s gone for good it’s going to be such a pain to sift through my whole library. Hoping someone has some insight!

Thanks!

I have the same issue and hope Adobe will restore this functionality ASAP! I don't understand why the moderators moved this from bugs to discussions.  This IS a bug in my opinion.

Bug reports are moved to Discussions until it is established that it is really a bug in Lightroom. It depends why this change happened. It could be a bug, but it could also be that Apple changed something in iOS that breaks it.

Thanks, Johan for explaining. I'm new to this forum. I would agree it's likely that an iOS update contributed to this issue.

Yep! Same thing I has happened to me. It started after the recent IOS update, so I'm wondering if it's something to do with that? The only way round it I've found so far is to select the favourites within my camera roll and then 'open in Lightroom'.

A workaround I found is that in the Lightroom Mobile app, you can click on Device button at the bottom menu, then using the dropdown menu next to Recents you can select Favorites. From there you can select photos to import and add to a Lightroom folder.
