I deleted items from application support...apparently wasn't paying close enough attention to what I was deleting- and now Lightroom Classic won't import any images. I have tried everything. Reset preferences. Checked permissions. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Created a new catalog. What can I do? Please help!

Hi @katiew87325878! Welcome to the community!
Could you share a bit more about the issue you're facing? Which version of Lightroom are you using? When you mention deleting items from application support, do you mean from the app's internal folder? Are you seeing any error messages when trying to import photos?
If your Lightroom installation is corrupted, you might want to give the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool a try.
Thanks so much!
Best, Alek

I honestly don't know for sure. I process a lot of RAW images and they suddenly started being cached in my application support, so i've had to delete them every few days. When I did it this time I must have deleted the wrong thing. My trash ended up deleting over 150,000 items. (I saw this too late). There are no error messages but it says 'no images or video found' even though there are images from the places i've tried importing from. When I say application support, I mean from the HD. I am using Lightroom Classic

So, I was able to import from an SD card but it won't import images from my Desktop.
I appreciate the help 🙂

This image shows that my files '5:6 enfused' and '5:7enfused' have zero photos but that is not accurate.
