Hi all,
I've just bought a compact Canon G7X mark II (which has been around for a while). I subscribe to the photographer package for both Lightroom and Photoshop. Neither can read or recognise files from this camera (they have no problem with my professional Nikon DSLR kit). When I click the 'look for updates' option I'm getting:

The version check was unsuccessful.

This is probably the result of one of the following:

-Your internet connection is not currently available
-The server containing the version data is not available at this time

Never had this problem before and i can't imagine that Canon is offline. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

So what are the Version Numbers of your software (Lightroom & Photoshop)

The G7X II has been supported by Adobe software for several years. (Lightroom v6.6, Lightroom-CLassic v2015.6, ACR v9.6)
