Ligjht room 6 Raw files not recognized

Hi all

Not a happy bunny at all! I had a problem with my PC so I had to reinsall windows 10 64 bit!

Now I trying to get my Caon d5 mark 5 camre raw files into lightroom 6 and it not working!! Grr

I have instal the Camreraw_file _12.4 update!

When I clik on inprot and surch my hard drive to the photos I laike to open in LR 6 I getting this error!

The file are not recognized by the raw format supported inlight room (1)

I would be help any one can help with this please?? Or I am going shopping!

Installing the latest version of Camera Raw isn't going to affect Lightroom at all. The raw technology is part of the Lightroom program, and Lightroom has to be updated in order to have that updated. If you reinstalled Lightroom from the CD then you only have Lightroom 6.0. The last update was 6.14, but those updates are difficult to find anymore. The link that I had doesn't seem to work, at least for me. So I don't give it out anymore. Is your camera really a Mark V, or is it a Mark IV?

Reading your question again, did you actually reinstall Lightroom? What is the actual version number installed on your computer? Did you install any updates to Lightroom 6?
