Limited Import from SD card to LR mobile w IPAD OS.

I am trying to import photos from my SD card, via the files app. Using IPad OS on IPad Pro.

From the files app I select the images, and click share.

I can import a few images only this way. Max 8.

When I try to import the whole camera roll, the LR option disappears from the share menu.

Is there any other way to import a whole SD card folder of images into LR without using the photos app?

Hi Andrew,

We haven't seen an update to LR for iPadOS yet... and Files wasn't a feature yet at the time the previous release was posted. I think in general, support for Files should be picked up in the next release. 

Note that I don't work for Adobe, and have no inside knowledge about LR Mobile releases. I'm just speculating here.

Ok, same situation, trying to port my workflow on iPad.
The 8 file limit is drammatically slow down my work.
Sometimes the external reader (original) its not showed in lightroom file browser.

Hoping in the next update!
