Linear and radial gradient red area not going

Hello Community,

I am able to select linear/radial gradient in the options on the right hand side. I then go to change say exposure, and the red area that I ahve chosen to tweak stays red so I can't see the results of me actually editing thus making actually editing a bit of a struggle.

I'm sure it's just a quick fix but I am new to this, only had it for just over a week

Thank you!

Press the 'O' key. That toggles the red overlay on/off.
