LOST CATALOGS / Import edits from Cloud?

During a support call, adobe had me do a resync... for whatever reason, this deleted all my catalogs and backups from LrC and computer. Everything is just gone.  I do still have all of the original files backed up but not with their .xmp files.

 

I DO see all of my edits exisiting in the cloud (I edit on a tablet with CC).

 

I am going to have to start fresh with a new catalog - is there a way to sync from the cloud back to these files to apply the edits? My worry is that when I sync 1)  it will sycn from Lrc (non edited) and erase everything on my edited cloud files 2) this just wont work. 

 

The tech suggested using Adobe Downloader to download everything from CC but there seems to be a glitch and I cant do that on my computer...
