Lost photos

I just upgraded LR on my iPhone XS to share photos on all devices. The phone app crashed immediately and all my photos are gone! Not available on any device. I tried re loading the original app but no photos. HELP!

If you are using the free app then you would have to restore from a backup of the device, if you have a subscription then your photos should sync from the Cloud.

Do you still have the photos elsewhere, pre the import to Lightroom?

No as an assignment I took them in the Lightroom app.
