LR CC not opening

I know i have about 1,000 photos on LR CC.  It's suddenly decided not to play.  On opening, i get the following screen (with blue spinny circle), i've left it for hours with no change.  I've re-booted several times.  I've installed latest operating system from Apple.  What else can i try?

Have re-installed, think i'm logged in to creative cloud, but still no progress...any further advice appreciated.

Try quitting LrCC and then logging out of the Adobe Creative Cloud app.

Then log back into the Creative Cloud app and open LrCC.... see if that helps.

OK - for some unknown reason it's progressed beyond the swirly blue circle, but now it's not displaying any photos.  It appears to be syncing 56 photos indefinitely and doesn't let me import new displaying message - "Database "..." library routine called out of sequence".  811 photos appear in PS, with the exception of the 56 that are syncing...

closed-re-opened and it's gone back to blue circle, indicating that its "synced and backed up"
