LR CC Not Reseting Edits

Explorer ,
Dec 05, 2021 Dec 05, 2021

I'm trying to use Lightroom CC more often (I usually use LR Classic). I moved over some photos and want to start editing from scratch. But I can't reset the edits. I used the Reset Edits under the Photo drop-down menu. But the images are still showing +25 contrast, +50 shadows, etc. They all show the same edits - like there is an import preset active. But I've not set one up in CC. These are not the edits from LR Classic. I have to manually go into each setting and enter zero.

What am I missing about reseting the edits in LR CC?

I'm using the most current version. 5.0 on Mac Monterey.

If you reset edits, you will reset them to the camera default. In the settings you can set a preset as default, so that is probably where this is coming from.
