On Lightroom.web it shows i have 43,000 images. On my iPads, LRm is showing the same thing, as is LRm on my phone. I have 43,000 images.

LR.5 (LR CC) is showing i have 25,000. It also says Syncing is up to date. I have no erorr messages.

I dont have the time to try and figure out whats missing, but im wonderign if maybe this lower number is the orgial count thats stored locally?

If not, whats going on? Can i reset the count? Im happy to let it start again.

Windows 10, up to date, as are all my Adobe programs.

If that is the case, you can:

  1. Close Lightroom
  2. Rename your Managed Catalog  which is found in AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Data\guidstringofnumbers\Managed Catalog.mcat
  3. Restart Lightroom
  4. Allow a while for it to sync

Can you post a screenshot of the dialog that appears when you click on the cloud icon?

Here you go.

The amount of used/remaining space is correct, but the number of photos is not.

Ive uninstalled LR and re installed, but as soon as i open it up it shows me the wrong number of photos. Im happy to remove everything if needed, but not sure what else i need to remove.

This is a screen shot from LRm on my iPad.

Could it be that LR is just showing the number of shots in Albums and not everything?

There is something wrong with the iPad shot- I can't view it.

If you log in at https://lightroom.adobe.com -screenshot your LH panels and post it as well.

For some reason iOS and your forum software are not playing well together.

im also getting sync issues when everything says that syncing is all up to date.

Images edited on my ipad tonight are giving me this issue in LR, even though its supposed to have finished syncing. ive had this error message up for about 10mins.

OK. Summarizing

Cloud and iPad agree now.

Desktop does not agree.

Are all photos in the cloud or do you have items ingested via the Desktop that have not made it to the cloud? Before taking the nuclear option, we need to understand if there are any files on desktop not synced to the cloud.

Yes, all the above to correct.
Nothing is waiting to be uploaded.

I always upload via my iPad as I hardly use the PC.

Edits are working both ways, from any device to all devices.

Ah, that fixed it. Thnals very much.

When i delted the app it obviouly didnt delete the catalog as well. I now have the full amount of photos showing on all the devices.

Thnaks for the help.

Just got to get the 'no internet' error that comes up after a while of downloading the original files to sort out.

In person we could have fixed it in half an hour. Forums are a touch place to troubleshoot sync - especially with worldwide time zones involved. I am glad it is working!
