Hi, I'm having an issue with Lightroom (cloud-based) on my M1 iMac (macOS Sequoia 15.3.2). When I use "Edit in Photoshop" on a DNG file or a JPEG, the app hangs. But if I use "Edit in Photoshop as Smart Object," it works fine. This does not happen in Lightroom Classic—only in the cloud version. Both apps are fully updated. I've tried disabling GPU acceleration, purging the Camera Raw cache, and rebooting—no change. Can you help or confirm if this is a known issue?
Could you also check if Lightroom is added to Accessibility and Full Disk access for macOS? You can check out the steps here: https://adobe.ly/4cuTuew
Thanks,

Hi, we're sorry about the trouble! You can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom by pressing and holding the Shift + Options keys when launching the app.
Let us know if it makes a difference!
Thanks,
Nikunj

Thanks for trying that! I tried reproducing this behavior with multiple Jpegs on my M1 Macbook but everything is working as expected. The only difference I see is that my machine is on macOS 15.4 while your machine is on macOS 15.3.2. Can you try updating macOS as well to see if that makes a change?
Also, how much RAM does your iMac have?
Thanks,
Nikunj

Hi Nikunj, The iMac has 16 GB memory. Just did the update to mac OS 15.4 and tried again. (Didn't know about the update). No luck, still stops in the transfer to PS a bit more than half way through. As a work around I can edit the photo by "edit as a smart object", just annoying. Thanks, Ian
