LR Mobile on iPad Pro - EXT Harddrive with iPadOS

For my Travel photography, I'm testing the use of an iPad Pro with LR Mobile as a laptop replacement since iPadOS now allows connecting external harddrives.

Importing the images from the SD card to my External drive (by using the files app) which is connected to the iPad is no problem. The next step I then want to "Add photos" in Lightroom Mobile from "Files". Unfortunately Ligthroom does not seem to link to the external harddrive through the files app; only the ipad itself shows up on the files app.

Anybody a workaround or feedback?

Thanks

Same problem. I'm on iPadOS 13.1.2 with LR 4.4.1. I can see my SD card in The Files app but not in LR 'from files'.

As far as I know Lightroom Mobile for iOS doesn’t support direct import yet, even though iOS 13 does allow the possibility.
