Lr mobile won't open on new tablet. It needs to be online!

I'm a LrC and photoshop subscriber. I recently upgraded to a newer Samsung tablet and transferred the Lr app over. I never had any issues opening and editing offline on the old tablet. However, on the new one Lr will not even open if I'm offline. It just comes up with a screen saying 'You're offline. Check your connection or get a notification when you're back online'.

I don't know what's going on. Why won't it open offline. It's useless if it doesn't! It works perfectly when I am online.

It may depend on what photos you are trying to edit. Lightroom Mobile only caches photos that have been recent imported or edited on that device.

Whilst you're still online you could either access the photos and get original or smart preview in Loupe view or if working in an Album, store it locally.

Thanks for the reply. However, please read my post again. The app won't even open. It's got nothing to do with the photos, which by the way are stored locally on the device.
