(macOS) Lightroom 6.3.1 No images that can be imported were found in the selected source

Recently unable to import from my Camera D850 - device is available as an option but following error appears when selecting the device " No images that can be imported were found in the selected source." However, I am able to import from the selected device into Lightroom Classic and Apple Photos??

Any help or guidance gratefully received.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried already? Try these suggestions:

• Ensure Lightroom has the required permissions on macOS:https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/quick-tips-how-to-give-full-disk-access... 
• Try restarting the machine while the camera is connected.
