Hope the title made sense.

1. I deleted my hard drive with all my pictures. Why? I am a moron.

2. Data recovery is revealing itself to be a dead end.

3. I have every picture not backed up on a single SD card.

Sooooo. Is there a way to drag those pictures onto my hard drive and have Lightroom identify the file names that will still be matching and retain the file structure and edits? All I would have to do is Make new exports with the edits I alrady have.

I hope I explained this well. Thank you for your time.

You posted this in the Lightroom ecosystem forum, but it sounds like you are using Lightroom Classic. Is that correct? You also write "I have every picture not backed up on a single SD card", but I assume that you mean you do still have them on an SD card?

Lightroom Classic will automatically 'discover' the images again if you place them in the same folder hierarchy as Lightroom expects them to be. What that folder structure is can be seen in the Lightroom Classic folder panel.
