Hello everyone,
I use lightroom CC for editing.
My query relates to moving files from one album to another. On my ipad there is an option to move the file but on my desktop there is only an option to add it to another album leaving a copy residing in its current location.
Any help would be apprecaited.
Jon

Amazing, even the community professionals still get it wrong. It's such a stupid naming convention Adobe are using!

It's one of those oddities that exist in the Lightroom ecosystem, i.e. moving an image from one album to another is possible in the Lightroom Mobiles apps, and the LrWeb app, but not in the Lightroom Desktop app. In Lightroom Desktop you have to add to the new album then remove from the current album.
I expect there's already a feature request somewhere in this forum, so adding an upvote might help Adobe prioritise the work to fix this anomaly.

Thanks you for your help. In that case how can I remove a file from an
album without deleting it?
Kind regards

Select the album, then right-click on the image you want to remove from that album, then click on "Remove 1 Photo from Album..."
