NON avx2 version?

Hello all,

I just recently purchased a used 2012 mac pro 5,1. I was GOING to use this machine to edit photos... Until I realized (after the purchase) that you need AVX2 support to install lightroom CC. Does anyone have/know what version I can download that doesn't require the AVX2?

You can only download the last 2 versions - I think you are out of luck. I have an old 2012 iMac that I retired in 2020. It just wasn't up to snuff anymore.

Lightroom Desktop 7.x
Lightroom Classic 13.x 

Either should function on your machine if you can install a supported OS.
