I have Lightroom cloud-based photo service on my iphone and ipad, along with Lightroom Classic on my laptop. I have no problem syncing images back and forth to both devices. Edits normally sync fine. I believe I'm up to date both devices.
On LR iPad (v.5.2.3), if I start to edit an image, it reverts to a previous state. Pressing my thumb on the image I can see the original image before any of my edits. The state doesn't revert as far back as the original, but looks very simliar to it. If I undo my attempted edit, nothing changes. If I swipe to the next image in my folder, and then back again, it goes back to how it was before I attempted to edit it. So, basically, I can't edit on my iPad then, because any edits I try to make suddenly I'm looking at what looks like a corrupted image.
Anyone have any ideas what's going on and how to fix it?

Hello @rickarooni,
Are you able to edit the same image on lightroom.adobe.com?
Also, does your issue get resolved after upgrading to the latest Lr iPad version (8.2.2)?
Thank you,
Elmira

Thanks, Elmira.
Yes, I can edit in Lightroom classic. I have an iPad mini 2 with 32GB capacity, and I have 31.2GB used, so I'm wondering if that is the problem. Even if I zoom an image in Lightroom on the iPad, the image reverts to something I don't recognize. Software version is 12.5.5. Apparently I have enough iCoud storage to move my photos to the cloud. I don't normally have that many photos/videos on my ipad, but I now see I have over 4GB. So, I think I'll move them to the cloud.

After freeing up some space on my iPad, the problem is still there, but, I'm not sure, but maybe not as bad. For example, if I try to zoom an image to see it better, as soon as I take my fingers off the screen the image goes monotone.
