When using Lightroom in Google pixel 9 pro fold, the app performs as expected except for opening/editing images on the inside screen. You can browse albums, and such, and edit images on the outer screen, but it shows nothing but black (with side bars and editing tools still showing though)
We are currently working on it and should be fixed soon, However if you can create a short video and share it that would help for further investigation. Also the Diagnostics logs please refer:

If you use a Pinch/Zoom gesture, does it restore the image to the screen?

If I select an image from an album while using the inside screen and try pinching/zooming in/out there is no change. But I was able to use the outside screen to go to an image, then IF I zoom in and then open to the inside screen, the image will show and behaves mostly normal from there.

Behavior goes back to black screen and cannot see/locate any image of I try going left/right to next image

It was a large part of be wanting a foldable too. So I'm hoping to get a smooth experience. I know this is a brand new phone to market so just hoping there could be an update soon to make it functional.

I have this issue. At first a very tiny image was appearing at the top in Edit view and if I clicked the image it would go into the preview mode but now I can't get any image to show on the 8" screen in Edit mode or preview mode. Slight workaround is to go into the app settings (via Android settings) and change the aspect ratio to 3:2 but this cuts off around 2/5 of the screen. Not ideal so fingers crossed for a fix soon.

Jumping from another thread, this seems to be an issue with the OnePlus fold too

The same problem here. Even there is a workaound by turning the phone it has to be fixed by adobe. This is why I wrote this thread. One reason why I bought the Pixel 9 Pro fold is Lighroom CC...

Came here to post exactly the same thing - I was looking forward to editing on my new pixel 9 fold, but the app is unusable at the moment

This isn't something new. This also happened on my OnePlus Open. I was hoping the issue was already fixed when I picked up my P9PFold but unfortunately it isn't.
The quick way to fix is to rotate your screen 90 degrees and then you can see the photo and edit them as you please.
Adobe need sto figure this issue out. It's so annoying!

Please go to phone settings.
1. Search for Display size
2.you will find each app with some aspect ratios
3. Select Lightroom to 4:3 aspect ratio.
4. And then Test Lightroom.

The Pixel 9 Pro FOLD does not have a 4:3 aspect ration but only 3:2. Upon saying that, the 3:2 works but we're wasting the whole screen of the device. This is a stop gap but no means a fix. Why can't we use the full screen on any of the fold devices?

Can I ask if this is the kind of thing Adobe would look into fixing, is it being worked on or any plans? It isn't the biggest of deals given rotating 90degrees does allow it to work fullscreen but its a bug we'd like to see fixed.

DONE!
I emailed the logs, per your instructions and also included a link to the screencapture I took showing the problem.
Here is the link to the screencapture in case anyone wants to see.

You know what's funny?
The issue in question does not happen if you open a video! LOL
Please check out the screen capture I took and you'll see in the end that I can open a video without having to rotate the screen first. You'll see a slight flicker when I rotate the screen.
