Hello,
I tried uploading photos from Lightroom on iPad and on the web app.
On the iPad, Lightroom shows that some photos are duplicates (and yes, some of them were uploaded correctly the first time) but 10 of them are missing. The upload seems to work, and a message says that it successfully uploaded 10 photos.
But in the library, the number of photos doesn't change and the photos are nowhere to be found.
This is really upsetting as it seems to be no way of uploading the photos.
I tried uploading through the web application, but there it says that all photos are duplicates. But still, I see 49 photos in the library, and I have 59 to import.
How can I upload my photos?
Thank you for your help.
Hi @Faynoa, welcome to the community!
It’s possible that some of your images might be stuck syncing. When you get a chance, could you try following the troubleshooting steps in this guide and see if the issue still comes up afterward? https://adobe.ly/4ldXNOb
Thanks so much!

Hi Alek,
Thank you for helping me!
I followed the steps from the link you sent. On the iPad there is no "Sync error" folder, and there is no "Sync Status" filter either. So there is no way for me to actually see what is the problem.
On the web app however, I see a "Sync Issues" folder. I tried deleting all photos from there, as well as from the "Deleted" folder, and then tried to re-upload the photos from the iPad.
I have the same message saying that it successfully imported the photos, but the 10 of them that were missing are still not showing. On the web app, they appear on the "Sync Issues" folder.
Once again, I repeated the steps to delete photos, and this time tried re-uploading them from the web app.
This time, the photos actually showed in the library.
So there is definitively a problem with the iPad application...
Again, thank you for the link, it helped me solve my issue. I hope the iPad application becomes more robust with later updates 🙂
