Presets won't import

I am trying to import some presets to Lr CC but it keeps giving me this message. I have tried the classic as well and get the same message.

.lrtemplate is an older preset format for Lightroom Classic and hasn't been used for a few years.

The name "CC" hasn't been used for four years, but I assume you are using Lightroom Desktop, which is incompatible with this deprecated "lrtemplate" Preset format. Presets that work with today's applications should be in .xmp format. 

Contact your preset supplier and ask them for an updated format preset. 

If you have a copy of LrClassic on your machine, you can use it to update the preset.
