Hi all,
I having recently starting using Adobe Lightroom CC with my Nikon Z7, in which I shoot in RAW and JPEG. I like the ability to instantly download a smaller JPEG (c800kb) photo to my phone, as often I will share a picture with a friend through Whatsapp. However, given that I already have the RAW and higher res JPEG on my memory stick, I prefer this lower res JPEG file not to pop up in my Adobe Lightroom on my laptop, which is where I edit and organize my pictures afterwards.
Is there a way of preventing the upload to my laptop's Lightroom, while still retaining the phone download functionality? One solution would be to organize the pictures in Lightroom by size and then in one sweep delete all the small res pictures, but I don't think that's possible either?
Thanks!

Hi there,
The other way is to pause the syncing on the Laptop's Lightroom by clicking on the Cloud icon on the top right corner. However, that would stop the syncing activity on the Laptop.

Sahil

I’m not completely clear on your workflow, but it sounds like you download your raw+jpeg images to your phone, and then they get imported into Lightroom. Did I understand this correctly? Are you importing the images into Lightroom on your phone, or are they importing automatically?
If you simply want the jpeg on your phone to quickly share with others, you don’t need to import them into lightroom. If they are automatically importing, you can turn that behavior off in the Lightroom settings. Go to Settings>Auto Import and turn it off.
