Problem report: fit feature misalignment

After using lightroom for a while (meaning not right after program startup), the 'fit' feature starts misaligning the picture.

Expected behavior: pressing 'fit' aligns the photo to the available canvas, with small white borders

Experienced behavior: pressing 'fit' misaligns the photo to extend the border of the canvas.

Attachment shows misaligned photo after pressing 'fit'.

Restarting lightroom temporarily returns the expected behavior to the 'fit' feature. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes in lightroom before the misalignment happens again.

Quick question: what version of Lightroom are you currently using? If you can, could you also share a screenshot of how the Fit view looks when you first open the app, compared to when the issue starts showing up? That’ll help us better understand what’s going on.
