Putting badges or any sign on edited photos?

Apologies if this has been covered numerous times but I've wasted bunches of editing time googling and digging through videos to no avail. I was just starting to get halfway comfortable with classic and recently switched to LR CC. Not really liking the lack of ease in navigating it very annoyed that I cant see a number on the picture and some sort of sign that it's been edited. I'm currently working in the filmstrip mode. Am I missing something here?? Any tips appreciated

You are not overlooking are missing anything. There are no badges as there are in Classic.
