Hello!
I have a question to you guys. I can import RAW-photos from my phone to the Lightroom app and when I'm done editing I press export and choosing "Highest available quality". But then when I look at the exported file in Google Photos it says jpg file and just 10 mb instead of 30 mb something. Is this normal?
Sincerely, Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,
For JPG, yes, this seems normal. What might you be expecting? Normally (depending on the sensor) the RAW image might be 20, 30Mb or even more. Bit once compressed as a JPG, you should get a much smaller file (even single digit Mb).
Mike

Okay sorry for the "dumb" question then. Thanks then I know!

Is there a way not to compress it and keep it as a .cr file when exporting to Google photos? I used to able to export my edited photos from LR to Google and keep it as a raw file, now it converts them to .jpg

Never a dumb question! The only dumb ones are the ones you don't ask
